Hi, I’m Christian! I am a born-and-raised Minnesotan who specializes in ACT/SAT Reading/English tutoring, academic literature and language arts tutoring, and academic coaching. I came to Kay Tutoring after serving as a high school and middle school English teacher for the past 5 years. I especially love connecting with my students both in-person and online by making sessions fun and engaging. 

I grew up in Richfield and graduated magna cum laude from Winona State University with a degree in Communication Arts and Literature and a secondary ELA Minnesota teaching license. Fueled by my passion for writing, reading, and helping others, I have taught over 1000 students at the Circle of Life Academy in White Earth, Prior Lake High School, Faribault Middle School, and Insight School of MN. Thanks to my variety of teaching experiences, both in-person and online, I am adept at teaching the nuances of English grammar, advanced reading comprehension, literary analysis, and vocabulary development to students on all platforms.

 I live at the edge of Crystal and New Hope with my wife, newborn daughter, and one-year-old Holland lop bunny. I enjoy everything nerdy! My hobbies include video gaming, watching movies and TV shows, reading books, and listening to music. I spend my days enjoying my family and finding time for a bit of gaming or football. I am also a diehard Vikings fan and love almost every Minnesota team. Skol Vikings!
