Hello, I’m Brigitte. Five years after a highly successful Business Day with Andrea Kay as my partner, I graduated cum laude from Blake. I attended Stanford for my undergraduate studies, graduating with honors in Public Policy. After college, I worked as a management consultant and a nonprofit consultant in North America, Europe, and Africa. I then attended the University of California, San Diego for my doctorate in political science and then worked for the Varieties of Democracy Project at the University of Gothenburg for one year before assuming my current position as an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

What might be of particular interest to Kay Tutoring clients is that I parlayed my Senior Project at Blake into a career: volunteering in Malawi as an 18 year old turned into a decade of research in Malawi, and I now advises government agencies, aid organizations, and grassroots nonprofits across the country. Having worked as a TA and professor at four universities across the world, my role at Kay Tutoring is to ensure that tutoring services prepare students holistically for the demands of today's college life. I convey my observations as a college professor so that Kay Tutoring can work towards college readiness in addition to college acceptance.
