Christina
Hi! I'm Christina! I’m a Minnesota native who attended school in the Wayzata area. At Orono Senior High School, I participated in the National Honor Society and Long Lake Rowing Crew. I completed several AP classes and exams with an average high school GPA of 3.8 and AP test scores of 5/5.
From there, I earned an athletic scholarship on the Division I Women’s Rowing Team at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Alongside my rigorous course load as a science major, I spent 20+ hours each week at rowing practice and competitions. Despite a demanding schedule, I remained dedicated to my studies and received the Academic All-Big Ten Selection University of Minnesota Award. I also served as President of the Lutheran Student Fellowship at the University of Minnesota, where I hosted and organized various student and volunteer events. After graduating from the U of M with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology and a Minor in Neuroscience, I secured a position as a Medical Scribe and Assistant at a pain clinic, where I worked for two years.
I currently work for Kay Tutoring as a test proctor and administrative assistant. I believe that investing time in the education of future generations is both an honor and a privilege. In addition to my work with Kay Tutoring, I engage in cardiac rhythm analysis for Medtronic Medical Device Company. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors with my husband and puppy. I also express my creative side through crochet, sewing, bracelet weaving, and other handcrafted products, which I sell on Etsy and at local markets.
